Silk, Spice & Color Jewelry

When I worked in India, the relationship with color felt almost endless. The textile and fashion industry flowed everywhere; silks catching light, embroidery threads, street markets, fabrics drying outside workshops, jewelry, trays of pigments, women layered in color from head to toe.

No element ever appeared hesitant. Soft pink beside burnt orange, saffron yellows against burgundy, dark greens cutting through lighter purples. Every shade held its ground beside the next one. Not a single color tried to disappear.

That atmosphere of saturated color slowly entered my statement necklaces very naturally. The combinations became warmer, richer, and far more expressive through contrast alone.

Even the most intricate details began reacting differently beside these stronger hues. India changed the way I understood saturation, texture, and color presence completely.
